“I had postpartum hair loss after I gave birth to our youngest. I thought it would get better after a few months, but it didn’t.” – Alanna
Hair continued to fall out when the stress from taking care of the kids and work piled on.
Alanna looked at her husband tearily.
“I woke up at the crack of dawn everyday just to put on the wig and I’d only take it off when I was sure you were asleep to make sure you didn’t notice I was losing hair.”
“I just didn’t want you to think less of me, lose interest in me...”
“I’m sorry. I kept it a secret from you.” – Alanna
Alanna’s husband felt sad and hurt that she didn’t tell him.
“I don’t care if you have a full head of hair or none at all, I love you all the same.”
“But if you’re worried about it, we’ll figure it out together.” – Alanna’s husband
